Does anyone know where I can purchase a copy of the 9th Edition of the AISC Manual of Steel Construction, Allowable Stess Design (The Green One)

Thanks

RE: Steel Manual

Look online.

Ebay.com or allbookstores.com will be your best bet.

Thank you DJ and JAE. Unfortuantely ebay was no help, and allbooks only had a paperback. I was looking for a hardcover, I've had bad experiences ordering paperbacks, especially used they come to me all banged up. Amazon had a new one, hardcover for $690 which is a little extreme.

And I had actually called AISC and they are out of stock. Makes sense, they are forcing our hands into buying a 13th edition which doesnt help.

I appreciate your suggestions and help

RE: Steel Manual

try Alibris (www.alibris.com).  I've found several new and used books on there.

also, keep trying ebay.  I was looking for a copy of the 9th edition a few years ago.  checked ebay a few weeks and found nothing.  then there were several available (both new and used) for some reason.

Cover most of the books stores, Ebay, Half.com, etc. in one search. Go to www.fetchbook.info and choose to search on ISBN number 1564240002

Today, a number of options show up. Be careful, however, even thought that is the ISBN number for the 9th Edition (per my copy of it), some sellers will list older Editions using that number.

You can also try your local college's engineering bookstore.
