Autocad drawing borders with polylines
Autocad drawing borders with polylines
(OP)
Dear Folks;
I would like to import my customers Autocad drawing border and save it as a Solidworks drawing template. The drawing imports everything fine except for the border lines themselves. These are polylines and when you import them the width changes dramatically. I can find no way to edit the width back to normal from within solidworks. I dont relly want to mess with the customers border within autocad to replace the polylines unless I absolutely have to.
Does any one have any suggestions ?

If the width isn't correct, use the "Line Thickness" tool on the "Line Format" toolbar to thicken or thin the width.
You may have to clean it up a bit, such as center it on your sheet. Finally, save as template and sheet format in SW for future re-use.
