Allowable stress for ASTM B 423 hot finnished, annealed piping

Allowable stress for ASTM B 423 hot finnished, annealed piping

Allowable stress for ASTM B 423 hot finnished, annealed piping

(OP)
I have found a specification requirement for Incoloy piping with ASYM B 423 cold finnshed annealed material for piping system. But I have learnt that ASTM B 423 material is available in cold finnished annealed condition uo to 6" only. There fore I have no other option but to use ASTM B 423 hot finnished annealed pipe.My system requirement is 176kg/cm2 and 132 deg. C. I have not been able to finD allowable stress for this material in ASME B 31.3 and ASME Part II D. Now can any body suggest if I take 2/3 of yeild as allowable for thick calculation as per B31.3 whether it shall fulfill the requirement of B 31.3

RE: Allowable stress for ASTM B 423 hot finnished, annealed piping

Looks like it leads to Incoloy 825,

BigInch

Thanks. I have observed that ASTM B 425 is listed as forging in the pdf document but as per ASTM B 425 it is either bar or rod.

Thanks once again
