Battery charger sizing

Battery charger sizing

Battery charger sizing

(OP)
Dear All,

Could anyone advise regarding battery charger (110V) sizing for parallel load sharing charger (catering to 2x50% batt banks, Nicd each of 430Ah: Sized as per DC load profile of 152A for 2hrs and 47A for 8 hrs.)
Also wrt to charger pl note the following:
1. During boost charging of one battery bank by one charger the load will be isolated from this charger and the other charger shall supply loads and float charge the associated battery bank.
2 On failure of one charger the other charger shall automatically float charge both batteries and supply load.
3 Battery charger shall be sized to fully recharge the battery with in 10 hrs.

Pl give  reference of standards and formulas used for sizing of battery charger. Also advise for DC load whether max or min or average load has to be taken.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
