Generate Report in FEMAP-NX Nastran

Please someone advise on how to create a printable report from input/output data in FEMAP using NX Nastran solver? this option is as easy as a click in ALGOR.

RE: Generate Report in FEMAP-NX Nastran

As far as I know NX and FEMAP do not have a built in report generator like other products do.  You can cut and paste images from FEMAP into Word very easily.  That is how I have done it in the past.  It seems like you are looking for an automated report generator feature.  I know NEiNastran has this now in their Editor.  Maybe they will add it now that NEi has it.  They seem to be doing a lot of that lately.

List/destination/file

then List whatever you want.

Somehow I doubt that is what you really meant.

RE: Generate Report in FEMAP-NX Nastran

If we are talking about that kind of tabular text report then just make sure when you run your model in FEMAP you set Print and PostProcess in the Analysis menu.  The .f06 file in NX will have all your stresses and displacements listed.  If you want an HTML report then you are probably out of luck.  There may be some add-ons for FEMAP that do an HTML report.
