Oxygen diffusion rate through polyethylene pipe

Oxygen diffusion rate through polyethylene pipe

Hello,

Does anybody of you colleagues know where can I find any information about the rates of ambient oxygen diffusion in the heating water through the wall of the PE pipe?

I've got a kind of hard case study and I just cannot find any information on the web.

I would appreciate if you supplied me with any information.

Thank you in advance!

Uhm, I'm sorry I guess I did not make myself completely clear.
The basic question is how much oxygen shall go through the polyethylene pipe wall per sqm of the pipe area per second let say.

It is not about the PE itself, but what is exactly the amount of oxygen that we put a barrier for in eg. the ho water pipes, like AL-layer.

I just want to know what is exactly the amount of oxygen that dissolves in the water after it passes the PE pipe form the outside air.

The info. in that link speaks of oxygen permeability expressed in
cc ÷ (m2×day×atm×mm thickness)

Oh, right I must have it omitted. Thank you!
