invert orientation in GSD
invert orientation in GSD
(OP)
Hi All,
I have a question regarding the "invert orientation" tool. When would you use this feature? From what I understand you invert a surface when you have problems trimming a surface. Is this correct? If so how do you even know that a surface needs to be inverted, can you run some sort of analysis? The documents have little to say on this topic therefor any insight is appreciated.
thanks in advance, thixoguy

RE: invert orientation in GSD
If you don't understand what I'm trying to say, grab the "normal line" script from the CATBlog, and run it a few times, but invert the orientation of the surface, (then run it again) and see what you get. (be sure that you don't have the script set to make a line normal in each direction with the same length both ways)
