Cracking/Splitting of highly filled Stryene compound

(OP)
Hello everyone,

I have been working on a blend SBR/EPDM compound with high loading of Pliolite S6B(Styrene).  This is a closed cell foam material with low density performed by compression molding extruded profiles then expanded with conventional ovens.  I have been encountering problems with cracking of the surface and sides randomly.  Does any one have any suggestions with out increasing the density?
