Aboveground Storage Tanks - sec. containment for aboveground piping?

Aboveground Storage Tanks - sec. containment for aboveground piping?

(OP)
Anyone have any practical experience with SPCC requirements for secondary containment for aboveground piping?  I'm trying to determine what is required for containment of singlewalled piping outside of the bermed area.  Anyone with experience in this area?

Thanks for you help!

RE: Aboveground Storage Tanks - sec. containment for aboveground piping?

What material are you seeking to contain. That is a major factor on the decision process.

Sorry - The piping is for a large jet fuel aboveground storage tank.  I've reviewed the new SPCC rules & guidance, and I may be able to provide for 'active containment' via spill control kits since their is staffing at the tank at most hours.

Thanks!
