extruded PA Glass Fiber reinforced

(OP)
Hello, I am not an engineer so I may be posing a silly question: can extruded pa 6 or 66 glass reiforced extruded tubes be formed, bended just like metal tubes? what process would be needed?
The idea would be to buy extruded tubes cut and bend them afterwards.

RE: extruded PA Glass Fiber reinforced

It is theoretically possible, but practically very difficult as it will not stretch and draw down like metal when cold.

You would need to heat it to its softening temp, which is so close to the melting temp that it could not be maintained with enough accuracy to maintain a suitable operating window.

You would need to pack the tube to prevent collapse.

RE: extruded PA Glass Fiber reinforced

You need to use a non-crystaline material with a broad melting range to make this product successfully. If you with a large company you need to contact your materials engineering section of your company. If you are an inventor, you will likely have to hire a consultant.
