engtips376 I'm afraid I don't know enough to help you.  The only high temperature asphalt I've dealt with was for bituminous pavements.  A little more detail might be helpful for myself and others though.

Isn't a Primary Reformer part of a nitrogenous fertiliser production process?  I thought they run hotter than 260 degrees (over 800 degrees)?

I would give these people as they have the materials to cover a wide range insulation.  We used some of their materials in fairly high temp service.

On other possibility is the coatings used on the beds and frames of pickups.   I recently saw pickup that had burned and part of the bed coating still looked good.
