Looking for the name of a piping book I saw

Looking for the name of a piping book I saw

(OP)
Hello All!

I know this is a very broad question, but I have been trying to find a book I saw earlier in my career, but can not remeber the name of it. I will try to describe to the best of my ability, and hopefully someone will know what I am talking about.

-It has a blue cloth-like covering with yellow or gold writing
-The dimensions were approx. 12" X 15"
-It contained many conversion charts, data about valves and fitting
-I know that it was in print for many years, and now is only available in PDF formatt
-I thought it called "The Piping Handbook", but have not seen it while searching.

Like I said before, I know that this is very broad info, but if you have any idea the name and/or author it would be great. This book was full of excelant info, but very costly for me at the begining of my career while paying back student loans and such. I would love to have this book for referance now.

Thanks!

Alright Guys,

I have found the name of the book, it is "The Piping Guide" by David Sherwood. I have found where I can order the CD of it, and if that is what I need to do I will. I would much rather have a hard copy. If anyone has one and is wanting to sell it, PLEASE get in touch with me. Send me your price, and I will get back to you ASAP.

Thanks Agin!!

The piping guide is now out of print and only available on cd (pdf format) at http://www.pipingguide.com

Try amazon or ebay, you will often find these books popping up second hand.

Some other piping books of interest:

Process Plant Piping Books (Reference and Training)

For those individuals who are new to the piping profession and want sources to expand their knowledge.
There are a lot of books that address the subject of piping. Some books address HVAC and other building systems piping. Some address fire protection piping. There are still others that address hygienic piping. Finally, there are the books that address process plant piping. Process plants (in this context) are refineries, chemical plants, power plants, waste treatment plants, and others.

The books listed here are piping books for process plants and are just a few of the total that may be available.
