Joining plastic lace

(OP)
I have a product called REXLACE. It is used by children and craft people for years.  I simply want to melt the ends of a loop of the lace (about 22 in long) and it must be a quick process.. The joint must be almost as strong as the lace.
 Can this be done?
I cannot wait for a glue setup, too slow for the process.
Anybody?
Thanks in advance
Dennis

RE: Joining plastic lace

talk to an ultrasonic welding supplier like Branson or Dukane.
