Open a network file in NT where I dont have access?

Open a network file in NT where I dont have access?

(OP)
We have some Excel files on the network where users don't even have read access. But we would like to give access to a newly created NT userid. The user name and password will be given to the programmer. Using this user name and password I should be able to open the file sitting on the network through my VB6 application and do some changes to the file and save the file back to its original location. While we open the file using VB6 (Of cource using Excel.Application object) the Excel application should be visible. Users should be able to update the opend file, but they should not be allowed to save the file using Excel menus File.Save or File.SaveAs options, this should be done through the VB application.

If any one can through some lite on the above question, it would be of greate help.

Thanks
