How to calculate Piping Man-hrs?
How much man-hours to be taken per line as Engg. Std?
If we have one project contains 200 lines (2" to 20") and we consider following activities.
1.    From feed study to develop final studies
2.     And upto final construction layout and isometrics

There are written numerous book on cost estimation (e.g. Plant design and economics for chemical engineers" by .

The estimations evovles a breakdown of activities, etsimation for each activity - and is dependant on the level of accuracy that you are moving in.

Try to seach for book on the subject - IMHO its to broad for this forum.
