cmu r-value

(OP)
Does anyone know the r-value of a 12" thick fully grouted CMU wall. This wall is a basement wall.

RE: cmu r-value

Using heat transmission of concrete as k=1.3 (W/m K), the R value is approximately 1.33 for 12" thickness (R = 1/C, C=k/x, x= thickness, 1(W/m K)=0.5779(Btu/ft h F).

RE: cmu r-value

There's an HVAC and a Heat Transfer forum if that's not enough info.
