Fe-25 and Fm-200

Fe-25 and Fm-200

Fe-25 and Fm-200

(OP)
I am working on a fire suppression project. One vendor wants to sell me Inergen because he said FE-25 and FM-200 are going to be outlawed.

Has anyone else heard of this? My other vendor was shocked that another vendor would say such as no notice to him that this would occur.

Thanks.

RE: Fe-25 and Fm-200

I haven't read anything about this in the fire protection trade journals. I think you have salesperson who is either misinformed or is using the ploy of phase out as a marketing tool.

RE: Fe-25 and Fm-200

I have a meeting Thursday with a salesman who is pushing the FM-200,  so I assume it has not been outlawed, I do wonder the reason that is may be ?

Anyway the application will be used in a computer room at an Air Force Base facility,  which the Air Force, it seems,  does not allow or approve FM-200,  so it should be a fun meeting.
