Linear Hole Pattern & Cosmetic Thread

Linear Hole Pattern & Cosmetic Thread

Linear Hole Pattern & Cosmetic Thread

(OP)
I did a search in the archives and found a thread back from '04 about the same issue (I think).  The problem I am having is with a linear pattern of holes where the seed has a cosmetic thread.  The pattern does show the tapped hole "dashed line" but the cosmetic thread "texture" does not come along with the pattern.  Back in the '04 thread it was said that this is a "known issue".  Do "known issues" usually go unresolved for 2 years?  It appears so, in this case.  My current work around is to add the cosmetic threads to each hole (only if there is no proper way).  Suggestions welcome

RE: Linear Hole Pattern & Cosmetic Thread

I think it has been a known issue, but not important enough for most of us to turn in an ER. For me personally, I never really used it because it was non-added value.
