In another forum, they mention "Bleeder Trip Valves".  It sounds like they are talking about "extraction non-return valves" (used to prevent steam from back flowing into the steam turbines extraction)

Can any one help identify BTV and if it is just a NRV, why the name?

If different, in what way?

Thanks

I might have found the answer to my own question.  I saw the phase "Bled steam" in referance to stage extraction.  I just never heard "Bled Steam" use in US.  It sounds like an English expression.  I'm I correct in my assumptions
