I would like a regular letter stamp with 1" lettering to mark 01 01 01 then go 02 02 02 and the 03 03 03 and so on. I'm having a hard time locating any such stamp,  any ideas/suggestions are appreciated

Do you mean a rubber ink stamp or a steel stamp or what?

what volume of parts are you looking to stamp, what rate per day?

permanent rubber ink will work just fine.
about350 stamps a day.
