Simodrive 611

Simodrive 611

Does anyone know, or can anyone tell me how to adjust the drift and such on a motor attached to a Simodrive 611?  I just hired in with a company whose electrical engineer left 2 wks earlier and didn't bother to leave anything but the tools behind.  I now have a client that replaced the drive module on a multi-spindle lathe and needs to have the motor drift dialed in to match the new module.  I have the battery box here, but that's it....anyone?  anyone?

Thanks

RE: Simodrive 611

Is this a 611 analogue or digital?

RE: Simodrive 611

It is an analogue drive, and no, I am not looking for temperature drift.  The problem is that the motors don't follow EXACTLY what signal is sent for speed, so I need to adjust it to make absolutely certain that when the processor says "run at 1500 rpm" it runs at 1500 rpm, not 1490 or 1550.

I think the actual adjustment is on the 840C module, but I am not certain.

RE: Simodrive 611

As its the analogue 611, I think the adjustment of drift is actually on the feed module itself. I'm not 100% sure so I wouldn't like to advise further. What I know about the 611 analogue is that if you set it up wrong you really can cause yourself headaches so I would recommend you get some expert help on this.
