CAn anyone help with a resource that specifies thickess (number of wraps) and width of an frp piping butt and strap join for different diam frp pipe.
Thanks in advance.

RE: FRP Butt and Strap Weld

It depends on the pipe diameter and desired pressure rating.  The manufacturer you purchased from should be able to give this information to you.  You may also want to check out NBS PS-1569 (a voluntary product standard).  I'm not sure if it applies to pressure pipe, it does have info on FRP ducting.

Thanks jdarco. From a quick look NBS PS-1569 seems to be for duct work. I will chase pipe supplier for details.
