Manufacturing

(OP)
I recently was handed a project involving the installation of a VERY preliminary production line that will make aluminium strips and "L" shapes.  The equipment used will be an un-coiler, straightener, feeder, punch press, slitter and shear.  The client has already purchased the equipment but has no documentation!  I'm expected to piece all this equipment together into a continuous production line!! Is there anywhere I can find some information on installing these types of equipment?  for example how to determine the appropriate distance between the straightener and the feeder for the intended production rates?

RE: Manufacturing

The manufacturers of the equipment should be able to supply the documentation you need.

cheers

I have located some manuals for the straightener, and the punch press but I don't have any info on the rest.  Know where I can find info on a Welty Way Un-coiler Model hyd 6m-21-p?? I can't find the company on the web anywhere.
