deform examples
deform examples
(OP)
I'd like to see what someone thinks is a good example of the Deform feature, either Point, Curve to Curve or Surface Push. I don't need bad examples, I have plenty of those. I don't need the actual model, although that wouldn't be a bad thing if someone would offer, I really just need a believable application where it might actually be used on geometry where it looks good and works. I know, so many conditions. I'm not trying to bash the feature, that's been done before and is far too easy anyway.
Thanks for any constructive suggestions.

RE: deform examples
This is a feature that seems to work well, but lack big-time in interface. Anytime I've used it, I've had to refer to help and it takes me far too long to figure out which things stabilize the model, which things denote bending planes/points/lines, and which things will change all those directions. It doesn't make sense to me.

RE: deform examples
I'm talking about Deform, not Flex.
RE: deform examples
Deform is similar for me as well. I'd rather have a more controlled (and rational) loft or sweep to define things instead of using Deform. My only use for that is in cosmetic uses, similar to what ctopher mentioned above. And I RARELY use it (no good examples from me).
