Animator for Solidworks 2006: save timeline data?

Animator for Solidworks 2006: save timeline data?

(OP)
I am a new user just getting into the animation package in Solidworks 2006. I have been relatively pleased with how easy this add-in is to use but have not been able to find the answer to one blaring question:

Is it possible to save the timeline layout data (from the "animation" tab) into an editible file?

Clicking on the "save" icon in the animator menus sends you to a "record your animation to a video file" prompt. I don't want to render the animation, I want to save my work.

Please tell me I'm missing something or that there is a SP Update that I need to install to enable this function.

Thanks!

Saving the model will save the anim info with it.

I humbly retract my post. Apparently, this was an irregular error or shortcoming on my part. Thanks for the reply.
