Steel Mill Work Roll Bearing Failures - using FEA

Steel Mill Work Roll Bearing Failures - using FEA

(OP)
In the mid 1990s I saw an article discussing the use of Finite Element Analysis to determine how work roll bearings were failing on a Finishing mill. The bearings were only failing on one particular mill stand. The article showed how FEA was used to determine the abnormal loads on the bearings. Can anyone tell me who wrote the article, which magazine the article was published in, or which Steel Mill was having the bearing failures ?
