AutoCAD Linetypes for P&ID's

AutoCAD Linetypes for P&ID's

(OP)
I'm trying to find AutoCAD linetypes for the various type of lines used on Piping and Instrument Diagrams. Lines such as pneumatic, hydraulic, etc.  I'm also trying to develop a custom linetype like this: O O O O O O  to repesent client supplied piping. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

RE: AutoCAD Linetypes for P&ID's

Line Types are stored in a file with a .lin extension. Default line types are in the acad.lin. The lines you mentioned are probably setup as a seperate file, again with lin extension. you do a search for it, open in notepad, and then edit that file or make a new one. you can use existing linetypes as your template just change the part you want. Play around with it isn't to hard to figure out. Once you think you have what you want save the file with a name of your choosing, (i.e. yourfile.lin), to the support folder. Load your file a give a test run.
Hope this hleps
