About a 1/2 to 1 year ago there was an article on tips for steel framing layout for floor framing in a trade magazine (Structure, Structural Engineer, Modern Steel Construction, or other).  Does anybody recall the magazine or issue? Thanks.

RE: magazine article

Try this link - its what came to mind when you asked your question - maybe not what you were looking for.

MSC March 2005

RE: magazine article

Since you have personally seen the issue - how about checking back magazine issues in your company library.

Modern Steel Construction July 2003 had an article "57 Tips for Reducing Connection Costs".  Very good article.  The article I am thinking of was of similar nature, i.e. 50 Tips for Steel Framing.  I have the article in a saved issue, however, it is currently buried under 8 feet of boxes in storage (due to moving).  Anyway I am searching online.

JAE, your linked article is good but not what I was remembering.  Thanks for input.

RE: magazine article

I can't find the other one.

RE: magazine article

I would suggest everyone who deals with structural steel to subscribe to MSC.  It is free whether a member or not.
