LUM not starting on Windows start

LUM not starting on Windows start

LUM not starting on Windows start

(OP)
Up until a few days ago, my LUM server started automatically.  Now, I have to manually start LUM using i4cfg -start.

What could be the cause, and how to fix it?

Thank you.

RE: LUM not starting on Windows start

Use i4cfg & check that the start up box is checked. You can also check the starup type in the services list administrative tools-->Computer management-->applications & services-->Services-->IBM Network Licence Server-->Properties. Startup type should be automatic (this is for windows). I can dig out information on the unix equivilents but don't know it off the top of my head.

If all these look alright have a look at the event log to see if you can see aservice start problem. It may be related to another service that is not started by the time LUM is trying to start.

I have no idea why it might have changed
