Help on assemblies in assemblies

(OP)
Hi I'm new user in SEv17.

I did all my parts and made a assembly called 150cube tank.
Now this assembly comes in a new assembly called project.

Problem : The project assembly don't read the tank assembly any more.No files have been moved and I can right click and open tank when I'm in Project, but it doesn't show in project.

It says it fully positioned.

Please help.

RE: Help on assemblies in assemblies

Were the parts in your tank surface models?  If I recall there are settings you have to turn on in assy to see surface models.

Otherwise have you tried phoneing the SE  help desk if you have support 1 800 955 0000?

RE: Help on assemblies in assemblies

Have you tried right click and select "show all" in the short-cut menu?

I've used it for about 5 months now and it worked fine. And one day the one tank was gone and now the next also. I opened saved a copy of the tank and replaced the old one and it worked for a wile but is gone again now.

No show all doesn't work.

When I open a new assembly and want to place my tank in their it also says error "cannot place file"

RE: Help on assemblies in assemblies

Sounds like your file may be corrupted or something.

I'd strongly encourage you to get in touch with SE if you have a support contract.
