Transferred models form MDT into SW, my personal preference is to work in shaded with edges visible. However the icon is grayed out.

Any thoughts any one?

RE: shaded with edges - no option

RE: shaded with edges - no option

Stefan is alluding to what happens when you have a large assembly--which is a threshhold set within the system options.  So after crossing that threshhold, which you can set in the options at a specified number of parts, your screen will automatically remove the edge lines for better graphics performance.
