structural 2 test

structural 2 test

(OP)
I'm considering taking the structural 2 test to become a model law structural engineer. I have taken and passed the struct 1 back in '97, and meet all of the other requirements.

I'm curious about the opinions of those who have taken the struct 2 test.  How does it compare to the struct 1 in terms of difficulty?  What study aids would you recommend?

Thanks.

RE: structural 2 test

The SEII exam is much more difficult than the SEI (but not as difficult as the state-specific exams).  The SEII seems to be geared toward testing one's depth of knowledge whereas the SEI is geared toward breadth of knowledge.  I would recommend getting a study guide that contains lots of problems from past exams.
