Agtek Materials 3D Assistance

(OP)
Hello, I'm a junior junior user of this software, only two weeks I believe. I'm doing this as summer work for my fathers company as an office temp doing take off's for jobs he is planning to bid, and I've got Earthwork 3d down pat. He wanted me to start using Materials 3D for materials estimates I guess, and I was wondering if there was any way to edit the structure lists in the program, so instead of going to enter new structure each time I could compile a list of everything I might use on any job. My father already printed out a master list of all the materials he might use on a job, but I haven't been able to find out how to insert that information into Materials 3D.

Sorry for the double post, but I've discovered how to make my own structure list, but I can't find a way to be able to use it.
File>List Utilities>Open Structures List doesn't allow me to use it on the current job and leaves me with the default list instead.

RE: Agtek Materials 3D Assistance

ILL TRY MY BEST TO WALK YOU THROUGH IT.

Open a new job and call it LIST. Click EDIT then STRUCTURES.In the pop up menu click CLEAR, it asks "if you want to delete all the structures" click YES. Now start entering all your structures, when done click EXPORT save that in a folder you will remember. and every job you open import that structure list in the EDIT /STRUCTURES pop up. hope this helps.

Thanks, it worked but unfortunately the sorting system in Materials 3D is not to my liking so I guess I'll have to use Quest Estimating.

Now if only there was a computer in this office with a DVD drive I could watch those training DVD's
