Importing/Inserting Templates

Importing/Inserting Templates

(OP)
I created a template in excel with typical information I will be using int heading, etc.

I opened another excel file and interested inserting my template into this file.

Do you guys know how I might be able to do this?

THANKS

RE: Importing/Inserting Templates

If you saved your template as a template file, that is, with the xlt extention, then you can insert the template into any file by right clicking on the worksheet tab and selecting "Insert..." from the menu.  The insert dialog shows a list of available templates.

RE: Importing/Inserting Templates

If you saved it as an .xlt file, then in future to create a new file you will go File --> New --> and browse to your template or double-click on your template in windows explorer.
