Detailing holes or threads in section or side views

Other than manually typing the information in as a note is there a way to have Solidworks detail the hole automatically in a side or section view?

Thanks

If I understand you correctly.  Would it be possible to create and save the note as a favourite.  You could then add the note favourite to the dimension or hole callout instead of manually performing the option everytime.  Just a suggestion.

SW will only add dimensions (tapped etc...) in the plan view not from a side view... you will have to manully add a note there.

It will if you use Insert > Model Items and select the Hole Wizard Profiles option.
