Designing MCC

(OP)
Hi All,

I have been working as an operations engineer in australia for the last ten years and am currently designing an MCC with 1 11kw and 5 2kw Motors. I need assisstance in a correct design methodolgy for designing the MCC using type 2 protection and S&S components. Your assistance is greatly appreciated?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Designing MCC

Are you designing the MCC (whole unit) or just looking to purchase a unit that suits your needs.

I suggest you consult Siemens (Sirus Engineering).. they use SIMOCODE protection and comes as a package what contactors, breaker, etc to use for Type 2 co-ordination.
