Point relatively to origin
Point relatively to origin
(OP)
Hi, I have a surface and normal to surface. Now I want to put along this normal one of axis of coordinates system (not origin). Then I want have other 2 axis of coordinates system. At the end i would be great express how axis of this coordinate system are relativly to origin.(that they are for example the same direction and arrow (1,1,1) or another...) If You have soame sugestion please help me. I will be grateful for Yours help and answers.

RE: Point relatively to origin
I like to use 3D sketches to define coordinate systems: first I define in a 3D sketch lines for X-Y-Z then add CSYS over the sketch. That way I can use the 3D sketch for references for other features.

RE: Point relatively to origin
Are the surfaces created with a sketch?
Is it a 2D or 3D sketch?
Can you use the sketch geometry to determine the relationship to the origin?
If you can explain what you are trying to achieve, we may be able to help more.

RE: Point relatively to origin
If my coordinate system have the same direction and arrow what origin the information willbe:
(1,1,1) if not
(0,0,0)
if another then in brackets willbe some mathematical expression...
how I can obtain this...?
