Can anyone tell me what Bitish material spec "LCL" is? I suspect it to be 5052 Aluminum. It is Honeycomb core for RB211-524D4 Exhaust Cone. The Rolls Royce Spec is MSRR 8017 which is not available to me.

RE: British material spec "LCL"

The UK spec for 5052 sheet is 2L55.  I could not find LCL in my tables.

RE: British material spec "LCL"

Rolls-Royce give their materials an MSRR number and a three letter code. Any code starting with 'L' will be an aluminium alloy. I have not worked for R-R for a number of years now and have no access to their specifications but I would be fairly sure that LCL will be the code for MSRR8017.
