rounds on kidney shape pro/e 2001

rounds on kidney shape pro/e 2001

(OP)
I'm using Pro/E 2001

I have a protruded cut based on a kidney shaped sketch.

I now want to add a fillet to the internal edges but try as I might I can't figure out which advanced round settings to use.

Has anyone tried this?

Does anyone have any advice?

The kidney shape is two concentric arcs with tangential arcs at each end joining the concentric arcs.

The radius of the round/fillet is the same radius as the tangential arcs, if I use lower radii there isn't a problem.

RE: rounds on kidney shape pro/e 2001

Try making the slot first, minus the rounded ends (flat at the tangents), then round the inside of the slot (full round).

Then make 2 180 degree revolved cuts at either end, using the flat face created in the slot as a sketch plane, and referencing the round edge.

A star for you
