Hello.
Does anybody know where I can get an information about the shape of cutwater in the centrifugal pumps and its influence on vane-pass frequency?
Thanks.

RE: cutwater

Go to www.google.com and type in vane pass frequency - enough reading there to keep you occupied for awhile.

It is not only the cutwater that influences VPF - the impeller also plays a major role as well- ie, the number of impeller vanes, their shape at discharge etc.

Thanks a lot  for your quick response.
Yes, I have been looking such information for couple days in the Internet before, but  I did not find any conclusions or ideas about the tip of cutwater.
