Copy/Move a sheet from one file to another

Copy/Move a sheet from one file to another

Copy/Move a sheet from one file to another

(OP)
Hi all,

Up until 1 year ago, we used to create seperate files for each drawing sheet. e.g. if a drawing had 5 sheets, there would be 5 seperate files. we had our reasons for doing this so I won't go into it at the moment - but nowadays all sheets are in the same file.

My question is, can we now combine the 5 sheets into one file? Any suggestions?

Regards,

RE: Copy/Move a sheet from one file to another

Drag and drop the views from the individual sheets to new sheets of the multi-sheet drawing.

cheers

RE: Copy/Move a sheet from one file to another

For multiple views from 1 sheet to another: CTRL+pick then CTRL+C from drawing you want to copy, then CTRL+V onto destination sheet.

Is it possible to do either of the above from seperate files? I tried it but nothing happened.

Thanks.

RE: Copy/Move a sheet from one file to another

Do you have both files open at same time? Open both, split the screen, copy.
