Traffic mirrors, laws and placement???

Traffic mirrors, laws and placement???

Traffic mirrors, laws and placement???

(OP)
I have been asked to find information on the placemnet of a mirror, in order to see around a blind curve. I believe that they call these "traffic mirrors", but I am not too sure. What I need to know is if there are any laws or regulations on the size and placement of these such mirrors. This is to be used in south FL, if anybody can help I would greatly appreciate it.

RE: Traffic mirrors, laws and placement???

Try posting in the Traffic Engineering forum to get the right mix of readers.

Try contacting your local street department or DOT.  The laws are likely to change from city to city and state to state as well as on who owns the road.
