Good morning. there is in Solid works the opportunity to use knowledge based engineering. if yes what is the tool??it is necessary to install ??

RE: knowledge based engineering

There was (stil is?) a coupon in the SW premium box to use driveworks for a year.
Their site:

The concept seems very interesting. When I have some spare time I will try that program myself.

RE: knowledge based engineering

Is there anybody out there who HAD the time to try Driveworks Express?

RE: knowledge based engineering

I keep hearing about this driveworks express being part of SW 2006.  So why can't I find it anywhere, I was interested in checking it out.

RE: knowledge based engineering

It is a free download and I believe it is a 1 year licence.  I have not played with it though.

RE: knowledge based engineering

I have used it, about 2 years ago.  It is a nice program, but is very limited in what you can automate.  It may have changed a bit in the past few years.
