Photoworks - mateirals are not being transferred to part faces
Photoworks - mateirals are not being transferred to part faces
(OP)
Is anyone else seeing a problem with when you select multiple faces or the entire part and add a material to that part using lets say Miscellaneous\fabric\Satin black - I can't get those type of materials to show up on my model... they don't turn the color I specifiy.. I have messed with the options but still cannot get this to work. Can someone else test this and let me know if they can use it or not. I can then debug it further.
Thanks,

It wasn't important, so I didn't go further with it.

I could repeat your problem to the t, but only when I have Photoworks->Options->System Options->Use Solidworks Materials checked. Otherwise, everything seems to work fine.

RE: Photoworks - mateirals are not being transferred to part faces
What made my problem difficult to resolve is that after unchecking the Use SW Materials box, the problem didn't resolve. It also didn't resolve after a rebuild. I had to get into the material editor, make a subtle change, change it back to what I needed, and then the appearance updated. Very difficult to track what does what. Perhaps we could use an interface update?
