Can someone help me find reference to the welding of 321H SS.  ASME code reference would be greatly appriciated.  The part being welded is on a large ball valve that has some gaulding on the end plate.  If you need more info just let me know what and I will provide.

The filler metal for welding Type 321H can be either E347 or ER 347, depending on the process.

any type of preheat?  Or a chart I can reference?  Thanks for the filler metengr.

At ambient temps of say 55F and above the austenitic stainless steels do not require preheat, unless there is moisture present.  Be sure to thoroughly pre clean the area.
