SolidEdge 12 Configuration Issue

SolidEdge 12 Configuration Issue

SolidEdge 12 Configuration Issue

(OP)
Can someone help me to figure out, why my SolidEdge12 when launching is searching for server connection and before opening the part file a message appears that it cannot find the server (shows server path)?

I have a laptop and when I work off site I use my clients server. Last couple of days the computer been running very slow. I guess because every time was looking for server. So when I am connected to server, it takes long to load any file, new or existing; and when I am off site an error pops (once the message is accepted it successfully launches the new file).

Note, when I disconnect from server or internet, both at work or home, the SE runs like Ferarri.

These are some of the things I been experimenting with:
- inserting objects (links were not used)
- changing draft template
- copying and pasting Windows metafiles from excel to SE draft file
- and browsing through menu files to see what each can do

And I totally don't recall opening or saving part, draft or assembly files from / to server nor changing any configuration settings. Most of my work is done on the C drive and then moved on the server.

Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
