Configurations Imported Into Mastercam

Configurations Imported Into Mastercam

(OP)
I use configurations often when modeling. But when the model is imported into Mastercam only the configuration that was active whan last saved can be imported.
Does anyone know if there is a way to give Mastercam a choice of which configuration to import?

Thanks.

RE: Configurations Imported Into Mastercam

It's not Mastercams job to import "X" config. It the user exporting SW out as such file. Most files exports, dont support mutliple configs. SO you have to activate the config you want and export it out. you might check with some other 3rd part translators, but I don't know of any off hand myself.

That's what I was afraid of. I was just hoping that since Mastercam 10 imported straight from Solidworks now, it might recognize different configs. Thanks.
