Pen Tables

Pen Tables

(OP)
Hello All,

I am trying to develop a well versitle pen table for AutoCad 2k. Am looking of ideas and what other people companies have establised. Items like how many different weights, how many different types of screeening. Is is feasible to put in any type of linetypes into a color table
or fill styles. The work includes all disciplines.

Currently I am setting all colors that end with 0 to be light, and the weights get progressively darker with every color ending with a even number. I was saving odd numbers for screening. Am having a problem whether to use colors that end with 8 & 9 as they are on the dark side...

If you wouldn't mind sending me your color table for viewing, I would appreciate that.

RE: Pen Tables

I think the problem exists
in that few of us use all of
the colors.  General guideline
use .03 for part or finished
sizes, .01 for hatching,
.015 for dimensioning and text,
heavier for drawing borders.
Much of this is personal taste.
Try not to use too many colors.
This will will open a can of worms,
but you have my worm.
