connection for precast shear wall

(OP)
i want to know about the connections of precast shear walls that will resist wind and seismic load.
I mean the type of connection between two precasted shear panel that can act as a fixed connection and will translate the moment from mone panel to another safely.
i wish i will find a detailed answer to this important question

RE: connection for precast shear wall

Get a copy of the PCI Design Handbook, 6th Edition.  It will tell you everything about precast concrete connections.

RE: connection for precast shear wall

Use multiple embedded plates (with welded studs on back of plate) at the edges to be connected.  Weld connecting plates to the embedded plates. Size plates and welds to match or exceed the factored loads.  This has proven cost effective for many applications.

RE: connection for precast shear wall

A good reference (although some on this site have complained it is pricey) is the "Tilt-Up Design Handbook" by Brooks.
If you follow their design procedure you'll prboably find that this connection is not necessary.
