How Do I Switch Co-Ordinates System?

How Do I Switch Co-Ordinates System?

How Do I Switch Co-Ordinates System?

(OP)
I have received an AutoCad drawing that I have converted to dxf and then into the survey software I use (LSS)
However, if I query the co-ords of a point in AutoCad, it displays the result on a completely different grid system.
The info transferred across to LSS is on the correct grid system so it is obviously there somewhere!
Can anybody help.
Thanks
Steve

RE: How Do I Switch Co-Ordinates System?

Type "dducs" to see what user coordinate system (UCS) is in effect.  To change the coordinate system to "world", type UCS>WORLD.  Then type PLAN to orient the view with WORLD UCS.

Thanks Carl
Now set to world and giving correct co-ords.
